Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba island Exploration 4 days

Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Phong – Cat Ba – Lan Ha bay (Lunch, Dinner) 

The tour begins with a pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and a picturesque drive to Hai Phong City for an exciting hydrofoil ride to Cat Ba Island.

Lunch in Cat Ba Island will be onboard on a traditional sailing junk boat then a visit around the culturally unique floating villages in Lan Ha Bay and see the day to day activities of the locals.

The kayaking guide will instruct everyone on the padding routes then you’ll start kayaking through the beautiful scenery of Lan Ha Bay as well as to explore the Dark Cave and Bat Cave.

When you return to the junk boat you can go for a swim and cool off in the calm sea, then enjoy dinner on the open air deck.

Overnight stay on the junk boat.

Day 2: Lan Ha bay – full day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 

You will wake up in the early morning fresh air and enjoy the amazing landscape out your window. Breakfast will be served on the open air deck. Then we will continue cruising to the Three Tunnel Lagoon, Three Peach Lagoon and Pen Islet for more kayaking and discover the unforgettable scenery of the bay.

After a picnic lunch, there will be time for some amateur rock climbing to on a peak in Lan Ha Bay so everyone can enjoy the empowering feeling of being on the top of the world.

At sunset the tour will return to Cat Ba Town, where you will check in to your home-stay then have a traditional dinner and comfortable overnight rest.

Day 3: Trekking Cat Ba National Park – Viet Hai village (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 

Trekking: 11 kilometers trekking with rocky mountain

An early rise will be greeted with hearty breakfast for an exciting day full of outdoor activities. A short drive will take you to visit Hospital Cave and then discover Cat Ba National Park. Once at the park, you hike amongst the flora and fauna in a 5 hour trek to Viet Hai village. Nature lovers will have heaps of photo opportunities to capture images of wild animals such as monkeys, tree snakes, colorful frogs, and thousands of butterflies.

Upon arrival at Viet Hai village, a locally-sourced lunch will be served at a well-known local restaurant where you are encouraged to explore the surroundings, interact with the locals or relax before taking boat trip to return back to Cat Ba Town.

Once back you will have dinner and comfortable overnight rest at the home-stay in Cat Ba Town.

Day 4: Cat Ba – Hai Phong – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch) 

On the final day of the Cat Ba Exploration Tour, after your traditional breakfast, you are free to cycle to visit the traditional fish sauce making workshop, hike through the surrounding forest, or take time to visit the locals homes and engage with villagers and gain a deeper knowledge of their lifestyle and culture.

After a freshly prepared lunch, the tour will have a quick break and then return back to Hai Phong City where the private tour driver will to take you back to your hotel in Hanoi. Your Lan Ha and Cat Ba island 4 days concludes
