Day 1: Hanoi – Khuong Village

Your journey will begin at 7 a.m. with a pick up from your hotel by your driver and local guide. The first activity will be a gentle ride down the Buoi River on an authentic bamboo raft then a lunch of regional cuisine at a café.
There is a scenic drive to the Thuong Village where the 3-4 hour trek begins on the trail into Ngoc Son – Ngo Luong Nature Reserve. Thick lush forests encase the trail and occasionally reveal grand vistas and unscathed ecosystems inhabited by native creatures. When we reach the homestay at the stilt-houses of Khuong Village we will dine on homemade dishes and be entertained by traditional provincial performance.

Day 2: KhuongVillage – Mon Village

You will awake to an early breakfast and then begin on the panoramic trail towards the Mon Village. Millions of years of erosion have created stone pillars out of mountains and now they are surrounded by green watery fields of rice crops that are crisscrossed by raised paths leading you up to the Mu Waterfall where we will have lunch. Seeing the locals at work in the rice paddies and passing through small villages will give you an insight into life in the Northwest.A well-deserved dinner will greet you at the stilted house homestay in the Mon Village.

Day 3: Mon Village – Hieu Village

The third day will start with a homemade breakfast then a trek towards Coi Goa through mountain trails providing glimpses of rich bio-diversity. Lunch will allow a pause beside a small waterfall before the trail leads through the forest to the Hieu Village. You will arrive with time to stroll through the village and visit a nearby waterfall or go for a dip in the stream before it is time for a delicious dinner, locally made wine, and a comfortable bed.

Day 4: Hieu Village – Hanoi

Breakfast will be served before setting out on the final day’s short but beautiful trek down out of Hieu. You will have a final chance to catch an expansive view of the landscape deemed special enough to be made into a nature reserve. Lunch in a well-known restaurant at the end of the trek will be the final stop before joining the driver who will drive directly to Hanoi.
