Suburb Hanoi by bike day tour’s itinerary

Your certified tour guide will be ready to welcome you at 7.30 am in your hotel to escort you to collect your bicycle. Following a safety briefing -during which you will learn how to navigate Hanoi’s at times chaotic streets – it’s time to hit the road.

Our first area to explore is the charming and eccentric Old Quarter of Hanoi where we will pass street vendors and locals as we wind through the area. Then, over the Long Bien bridge we will use the aptly named Red River to guide us to our first port of call – the Bat Trang Pottery village – where you will be able to catch your breath and take in the skilled pottery makers before enjoying a much-needed cup of green tea. Those who wish to may also try their hand at pottery!

Following this, jump back on your bike and follow your guide though traditional alleyways, past local houses and businesses where you will get a glimpse of life in old Vietnam. Our destination is the new and as yet uncompleted Eco Park, which showcases some of Hanoi’s best architecture in this newly created village just outside the city. Compare this newly developed area with the Hanoi of old – through which you have just passed – before pausing for some simply delicious Vietnamese food in a local house.

As you make the journey back to Hanoi your guide will let you stop for a break to admire the Bonsai Garden and appreciate the skill of the gardeners who have lovingly created these masterpieces. Following this we will whizz along the agricultural plains before making a stop at the Quang Ba pottery market.

On your way, you will have ample opportunity to photograph some beautiful sights – the stilted houses along the Red River, the flower market and much much more! Follow the river back to deposit your bike and say goodbye to your guide, who will arrange transportation for you back to your hotel in the late afternoon to finish an unforgettable suburb Hanoi by bike tour.
