Dong Giang tribal area : 2 days adventure trip from Hoian

Great outdoor adventure to the trible hill Dong Giang 2 days tour 

Day 1 From Hoi An to Bhohoong Village

Included : Lunch and Dinner

You will be met at your hotel either in Danang or Hoian, where you will then meet your guide and take the journey to the Co Tu tribal village in the province of Dong Giang.

Mid-morning you will stop for a visit at a local tea plantation – one of the largest in the country, before arriving at But Nga village where your hiking journey will begin. Head through the forest for five kilometers, stopping at midday for a well-deserved picnic lunch and some much needed rest and relaxation bathing in a quiet stream

By midafternoon we are ready to move on again, and we head onward to the village of Bho Hoong. Here you will get to know a little more about the Co Tu tribe. Over half the population here makes their living from traditional arts and crafts, including bamboo weaving. This is a traditional area and you can spend some time here learning about how the local’s lives have remained unchanged for generations.

For your evening meal you will have the pleasure of joining a local family.  Then, there is the option to take in a dance performance during which you can learn a little bit more about the local culture and customs.

Tonight you will sleep in the Bho Hoong Communal house.

Day 2: From Bho Hoong Village to Hoi An via the Heaven’s Gate Cave

Enjoy your breakfast early this morning, then take some time to catch the sights and sounds of the village waking up for the day.

We then head on to the village of Ta Vac. Here, the Co Tu tribe has been living in the mountains, and their way of life is very much unchanged since generations before. The charming villages in the area are nestled into the mountains, and you can stop off and chat and talk to the locals who will be delighted to share their experiences with you.

We reach the village of Ka Dang from where we take a hike to a beautiful mountain waterfall and the Cong Troi Cave, This cave systems is full of stunning stalactites, and is not unlike the Phong Nha Caves that are famous throughout Vietnam.

Lunch today will be a delicious barbeque served by the waterfall, in which you can also bathe afterward.

Mid afternoon we will traverse the Song Kon Hydropower into the hills, taking in the lovely views as we go, before heading on back to Hoi An where the Dong Giang traditional tribal tour ends in the late afternoon.
