Nam Dinh 3 days tour  for authentic adventurers

Day 1 : Hanoi – Tran Temple – Countryside museum – Xuan Thuy national park (Lunch, Dinner)

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby for 2.5 hours drive to Nam Dinh. Pay a visit to the Tran Temple in Nam Dinh, where locals pay reverence to the rulers of the Tran dynasty. After that, we head pay a visit to the Countryside Museum where we take in a good display about rural life in the region.

We then head to the Xuan Thuy National Park and take in the flora and fauna of the area. We board a traditional wooden junk, cruise along the local cannal  before we stop for a bite of lunch prepared by local people at the clam hut. During your trip to the national park you will see a wide variety of different species, in particular, there are many different birds. A little boat can take you out to get closer to their habitat, and then we spend the night in the homestay with our host family

Day 2: Xuan Thuy National Park – Hai Ly

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning you will head off before breakfast on an hour-long bike tour in the Giao Xuan area where you will have the pleasure of taking in the bustling seafood market stalls as dawn breaks. Keeping with the seafood theme we pay a quick visit to a fish sauce factory and learn how to make it before we continue on our journey, cycling past the rice fields and watching the fishing boats coming in from their mornings work.

Then, a stop for breakfast and a rest before heading on to Hai Ly  (within an hour drive ) where we will spend the afternoon exploring the churches of the Christian population in the area. Many of the coastal church are at risk of erosion due to the sea levels so you should snap some photos of these before they are lost forever! After lunch you will have the chance to see locals making salt( if it falls in summertime or sun lights day ). Check into another homestay where you will be treated to a tasty dinner that you can help prepare yourself.

Day 3: Hai Ly – Hanoi 

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

This morning it’s up and out early to spend time with the local fishermen. You will get a fishing lesson and perhaps you will be lucky enough to catch your own fish. Then we head back to your accommodation for a delicious breakfast, before we further explore the region on bike, including the well-known ruined church  and the beaches. Today’s lunch is a treat in a restaurant before going back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 5.00pm to concludes this Nam Dinh 3 days authentic adventure
