Sapa half day trekking tour from Sapa

Start time : either 8.30am or 1.30pm

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby and transfer 5 kilometers out of th town before you begin your walk down hill and across the river to Suoi Ho settlement. Here we spend a brief moment taking a tour of some local houses, then proceed along the mountainside to the village of Ma Tra. This is a picturesque route and you will be able to take photos as you go through the rice fields. Stop off at an old catholic church for a tour before your driver will take you back to Sapa (12 kilometers drive)

Another possibility would be to carry on trekking to the village of Ta Phin. Here, stroll around the beautiful rice fields before having your midday meal with a local family from the Red Dao tribe. Take a tour of the area, perhaps picking up some gifts for those back home and enjoying the sounds of village life. There is also a community center where you can educate yourself about the culture, and the opportunity to have a Red Dao bath. Once we are done in Ta Phin we head back to Sapa to spend the night.
