This morning, enjoy your morning meal in your homestay during which your tour guide and other organizes will prepare a briefing on the activities ahead.

We will then take you to help out on one of the plantations or farms, assisting those who have perhaps a real need for additional help. You may try your hand at ploughing, or perhaps getting the fields ready for the next season. Following this you will eat a well-deserved traditional lunch in a local’s home. This afternoon you will visit a local family to try your hand at weaving in a traditional manner, using their ancient methods to create textiles.

On your return to your host’s home you will learn a bit about traditional cooking by helping prepare the evening meal, before you are escorted to the local secondary school in Tavan where you will have the opportunity to meet the teenage aged pupils. Let them try out their English before they put on a traditional show for you to enjoy.
