Explore rustic beauty of  Tam Giang Lagoon and Phuoc Tich ancient village 

Meet your tour guide at your hotel early this morning and make the half hour trip to your first stop at Phuoc Tich Village. The settlement here goes back to the 1600s and is a lovely place to explore. With little streets and a peaceful river at its edges, Phuoc Tich is a charming settlement that will chant every visitor. When we arrive we will take a short tour with one of the locals, taking in the traditional architecture. Then you will have the opportunity to partake in a cookery demonstration at a locals home, the fruits of your labor can then be eaten! Take this opportunity to chat to your hosts about their lives in the area.

Mid-morning approaches, and we make the short journey over to the commune of Quang Ngan. Here you will be taken to your base where you can leave your bags and get ready for the next part of the tour.

For lunch you will dine on some delicious sea food back at the first house you visited, served up with some fresh vegetables right from the village. Then, grab your bike and take a tour of the village, taking in the sights and sounds of the village. You will get the change to help out a farmer tending to his fields – perhaps in a rice crop or a vegetable patch before you learn about how rice is farmed in the area.

Mid-afternoon you will head over to the lagoon where your host will show you a prawn farm and a fish farming business. You’ll get the opportunity here to try your hand here at fishing as well and see if you can catch anything.

Then, return home where a minibus will be waiting for you to take you on the short drive to a gorgeous sandy beach where you will be able to spend some time enjoying the beautiful waters and fine sand. If the weather is bad don’t worry, there will be alternative arrangements made to spend some time at the local resort of My An Onsen.
